Ingredients: 2 limes
400 grs. 200 grs sugar water
.............. 2 oranges
500 grs. 250 grs sugar water

For all the slices out the same I used the mandolin, and I've cut 1 / 2 cms. thick.

In a saucepan put sugar, water and fruit, and let it do a very low heat for about 1 hour. Limes have needed something less time.
the syrup is removed and placed on a rack to drain and dry.
And so have been, after passing through the kiln and ready for use in the roulade of Kings, and the remaining syrup and well kept in a jar for use in cake.
